Everything lines unbent and more - lines unbent (complete edition) features additional poems from the original collection. lines unbent is my debut poetry collection, an eleven-poem exploration launched on June 2, 2023. This collection emerged from a rekindled passion for sharing my verses, a journey that began with earlier, unreleased projects like "Project One: Unfocused" and "keio." Ultimately, writing became a therapeutic process, culminating in this finalized body of work.

more lines unbent

lines unbent is my first ever collection. It has 11 poems in it. The collecton was released June 2, 2023.

Prior to the release, I had been posting poems. At around October of 2022, days before the Midnights release, I saw a post that posted his poems in a Midnights booklet form. I was inspired by this. I already had a lot of poems stored in my notes.

I planned to release my first booklet on a Wednesday, December 28, 2022 but that never materialized since I was not ready to share my poems yet, it was titled "Project One: Unfocused". A poem from it that made the cut in lines unbent is "the things we don't do." Then at around February of 2023, the idea reignited and at the 28th, I wanted to release "keio." keio included "alcalde of stars," and "stargazing you." But keio never saw the light of day because I couldn't bring myself to finish it due to a lot of events in my life at that time.

At Around April and May of that year, I found writing to be kind of therapeutic and wrote a lot. On the 9th of April, the poems "bending our parallel lines" was posted. It was followed by some snippets of the poems that made and did not make the cut in this collection. I wanted to release it on my birthday but I had other plans then. Weeks later, I finalized it and dropped it on June 2, 2023

I realsized that sharing just the polished version of lines unbent does not give it justice, so here is lines unbent (complete edition). All those snippets that were part of larger poems finally made it to the cut. Releasing this means so much to me since I am now more ready to share every bit of what I make with you.
